Before joining Eat Europe, Paolo Di Stefano led the Brussels office of the Italian farmers’ organisatio Coldiretti, strongly present at EU and International level.
“The objective of Eat Europe is to offer EU institutions and stakeholders a common approach to promote EU values based on enhancing transparency to consumers, preserve EU tradition, quality and distinctiveness of food and farming, pushing for a more pragmatic and science-based approach. A widely recognised professional in Brussels like Paolo Di Stefano can be very important to ensure this common approach will work and benefit all actors in the food value chain. I also want to thank Arianna Giuliodori for the work done over the last months, laying down the first foundations of the organisation” commented Luigi Scordamaglia, President of Eat Europe.
“It is with enthusiasm that I join such an innovative organisation as Eat Europe, aiming at building bridges between producers and consumers, starting from experiences in the different Countries to develop a renewed approach to drawing the future of our Food Systems in a sustainable way. We are convinced on the added value of partnerships and we are keen to collaborate with all actors that care for the future of our populations in terms of resilience of EU environment and economy, reduction of social gaps and increase of the already high EU welfare standards.” declared Paolo Di Stefano.
